Update on COVID-19 situation

The last few days and weeks have been unusual and challenging both for us as a company and for most of the global economy.
With the active containment of the COVID-19 pandemic, changes and challenges to cultural and social coexistence have also come.

On this occasion, we intend to publish a status report on the active measures we have taken to protect the health of our employees and also a report on the current business situation of Chrysalis Games.

Corporate measures

Chrysalis Games has been monitoring and assessing the situation on a daily basis since the end of February and is considering the necessary measures for the safety of the company’s employees on the basis of international and national regulations and recommendations.
At present, there is no evidence of COVID-19 infection in the company. As a precautionary measure, we have transferred all employees to home office operations since the beginning of March and extended this regulation to the end of June.
Even though Chrysalis Games actively and regularly uses the home office outside of times of crisis, there have been minor delays in daily operations (social media, communication …). Despite these circumstances, we are pleased that there is no major interference by COVID-19 in the company and that the daily operations are carried out in the best possible way.

As already announced in March, we have refrained from hiring new employees and applicants due to the pandemic and for the safety of our employees. Following a recommendation by the Board of Directors, this measure will continue to be implemented until the end of June and will be assessed accordingly.

As of 14 May 2020, the management has not manifested any major impairment of the company’s financial resources. This includes not only the liquidity of the company but also the continued payment of salaries and other costs for the operation of the developments.

Change in corporate structure

On 13 May 2020, a change in the corporate structure relevant to the commercial register and thus a change in the ownership structure was notified to Companies House of England & Wales for Chrysalis Games Ltd. The notification includes the acquisition of all co-determination and ownership rights of the British company (LTD) in Chrysalis Games Inc.
The new and sole owner of the British company since 13 May 2020 is Chrysalis Games Inc. represented by the Board of Directors.
Previous sole owner and majority shareholder Daniel Gippert has confirmed the acquisition of the shares of the British company.

Daniel Gippert will assume control and management as President & Chief Executive Officer.
